2021 Mr. Facejacket Beard Competition!
This year we are having both the Online Mr. Facejacket and an in person Mr. Facejacket Beard Competition! Just head over to the Fairbanks Food Bank's Go Fund me website, found here, click on the registration link and follow the directions. There is a $5.00 entry fee that goes to the Food Bank. If you have any questions contact us or the Fairbanks Community Food Bank. The contest will run until August 28th and then the competitors donation totals will be tallied to decide who will be Mr. and Mrs. Online Facejacket 2021! Yep, it's a food drive with prizes (still being collected)! Nick and Bean for the second year are continuing the Glitter Battle! You can donate to Bean's Glitter Beard Fund or Nick's Anti-Glitter Beard Fund. Nick will have to wear a Glitter Facejacket if Bean can raise $10,000 or more the whole night at the Howling Dog Saloon, but Nick can stop this with the Anti-Glitter fund if he can double the amount raised in the pro-Glitter fund!
For the in person event we will be able to have that on August 28, 2021 at The Howling Dog Saloon, in Fox, Alaska. Sign up will start at 7:00 pm if you haven't pre-registered for the competition. Entry fee is $10.00 in advance (working on that link) or at the door. That goes to the Food Bank too! Prizes and sponsors are still coming in. There will be the following categories:
- Mustache only will be judged, you can have a beard
- Goatee
- Mutton Chops
- Business Facejacket two inches or less
- Medium Facejacket 2”-8”
- Long Facejacket, longer than 8”
- Freestyle Facejacket/mustache
- Mr. Facejacket, winners from classes compete.
- Bonus! Mrs. Facejacket, ladies compete with fake or real Facejackets!
